Walking The Viaduct

Saturday morning WSDOT invited the public to walk onto the Alaska Way Viaduct while they were actively demolitioning a southern portion of the span for the long term goal of replacing it with a deep bore tunnel.  This is possibly the last time we the public have the ability to grace the upper deck of this landmark  that has some of the best views of the city.

    Too bad I’m stuck up here in B-ham. This would’ve been fun.
