Earlier this month I met up with the Seattle Flickrites for the monthly stroll which happened to be at the Kubota Garden in Seattle.  I hadn’t been there before and was excited to check it out.  After spending sometime in the garden , I saw someone peak their head into a Japanese Maple to get the view of within the canopy and I just had to see what the view was like.  The accompanying image is that.  I only brought one lens with me that day, my trusty Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens (the original not, L) so it’s a bit zoomed in and not as wide as I’d like it but it makes me want to go back in a month or two when colors are starting to turn.
