A few nights ago some friends and I went out to Seacrest Pier in anticipation to see the moon rise over downtown Seattle.  What we didn’t expect was clouds since it had been cloudless all day.  While our goal to see the moon over downtown was lost, the night wasn’t scrapped.  This photo ranks up there as a favorite from this area.

  1. Nice shot Colby. Had the same experience up here in Bellingham. Found a great place to shoot the full moon over Mt. Baker, but then the clouds rolled in. Oh well.

Went out the next day and shot this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151026069631364&set=a.10150193932956364.305385.282034151363&type=1&theater

    Thanks for sharing Colby.

  2. Hilarious ain’t it Pablo? I was out last night and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and didn’t even think about attempting the shot again, maybe tonight?

  3. This looks like a picture postcard. A great shot!
